Morocco

Morocco is a relatively large and stable country in North Africa with a population of about 20 million people. Morocco is not considered as a developing country and therefore there are no projects within the concept of international development cooperation. In the past, some members of our team worked there as volunteers at the clinic for treatment of animals in Fez which is called Americain Fondauk. The clinic is funded through the North American Foundation Ani Ben Bishop Fondation. It is situated on the edge of medina and treatment of animals is free for the owner. Thanks to our manager, Dr. Frappier we visited the farm of Holstein cattle which supplied the royal court with milk and milk products, and we also visited the royal reproductive center of camels in the desert town of Medelt.
